About Lumi Vasale
Thread veins, also known as spider veins or broken capillaries, can appear on the face and legs. If their appearance concerns you, an individual consultation can help you understand your treatment options.
The Lumi Vasale 980nm Laser Thread Vein Removal Treatment is designed to target small, superficial veins. Laser energy heats the vessel, helping it close. The treated vessel can then gradually fade as the body absorbs it.
Our specialists assess the size, location and extent of the veins before recommending treatment. The aim is to reduce their visibility and support a more even skin appearance without surgery.
The treatment explained
The Lumi Vasale 980nm Laser directs focused energy at the visible vessel. The heat causes blood within the vessel to coagulate and helps seal the vein, which can gradually be reabsorbed by the body.
Treatment settings and suitability depend on your skin and the vessels being treated. Your practitioner will explain what this means for your individual plan.
Precise application is intended to target the vein while limiting effects on surrounding tissue. However, no laser procedure is risk-free: redness, swelling, bruising, burns, pigment changes or scarring can occur.
Your practitioner will discuss the risks, preparation and aftercare before you decide whether to proceed.
Some small veins may show an early visible change, while others fade gradually. More than one appointment may be needed, depending on the size, location and number of veins.
We assess your response and recommend a course suited to you. A single-session result or complete clearance cannot be guaranteed.
A focused approach
A treatment decision guided by your concerns, your skin and the type of veins present.
The Lumi Vasale 980nm laser is used to address selected small, visible vessels.
A non-surgical approach to reducing the appearance of suitable superficial thread veins.
Your practitioner assesses the treatment area and recommends an appropriate course.
Clear guidance helps you care for your skin as it recovers and your results develop.
Your consultation comes first
If you want to reduce visible thread veins on the face, legs or another area, our specialists will assess whether this treatment is appropriate.
We review your skin tone, medical history and the extent of your veins, discuss your expectations, and explain the available options. Larger or symptomatic leg veins may need a medical assessment rather than cosmetic laser treatment.
Rosacea-prone skin requires particular care. Treating visible vessels does not cure rosacea, and your practitioner may recommend other care alongside or instead of laser.
Book NowPlease disclose pregnancy, breastfeeding, smoking, medicines and recent sun exposure. Spending time outdoors is not itself a reason to have treatment; recent tanning may affect suitability. Your practitioner will explain the clinic’s pregnancy and breastfeeding policy and any reasons to postpone treatment.

Laser thread vein removal is generally well tolerated, but you may feel warmth, tingling or discomfort. Sensation varies by person and treatment area. Your practitioner will discuss comfort measures and what to expect.
Redness, mild swelling or bruising may occur and can take several days or longer to settle. Many clients return to usual activities soon afterwards, but recovery varies. Follow the aftercare advice given for sun exposure, exercise, heat and skincare.
Successfully treated veins may remain cleared, but results are not guaranteed and further treatment can be needed. New thread veins may develop with age, genetics or other factors. We can reassess your skin if new veins appear.
